Woven Filter Fabrics
Summit offers filter bags in a variety of weights, construction and finishes made of the following:

| Cotton | Limited choices, low efficiency |
| Polyester | Workhorse of industry. Lots of choices. |
| Nylon | Abrasion resistance. Limited choices. |
| Polypropylene | Chemical resistance to acids and alkali. |
| Nomex | Widest - used High Temp fabric (to 400°F). |
| Fiberglass | Good to 550°F. Variety of weights and finishes. Most used for boiler applications. |
| Expanded PTFE | The ultimate for gas or liquid filtration. Chemical resistant and good to 550°F. |
